Three local boys basketball teams included in latest rankings

Three of the area’s best boys basketball teams have once again been included in Kyle Sandy’s latest top 10 rankings.

The Manchester Blue Devils established themselves as the No. 1 team in Class A-Public after a strong week, which included beating then-No. 1 Central-Talbotton 66-54 on Jan. 19. Central-Talbotton remains in the Class-A Public rankings, now slotted at No. 5.

The only local team that remains ranked in their classification is Carver. The Tigers sit at No. 9 in Class 4A thanks to their 15-4 record on the season.
