Carver boys basketball drops out of latest top 10 rankings
For the first time all season, the Carver Tigers boys basketball team is on the outside looking in at Class 4A’s top 10.
After falling to Americus-Sumter 55-52 on Saturday, the Tigers were not included in Kyle Sandy’s latest top 10 basketball rankings. Americus-Sumter, meanwhile, moved up two spots to No. 3 in Class 4A.
Carver’s loss leaves Manchester and Central-Talbotton as the only local teams still ranked. The Blue Devils are still No. 1 in Class A-Public with a perfect 16-0 record, while Central-Talbotton sits at No. 7 in the same classification.
