Four local girls basketball teams now included in rankings
Central-Talbotton’s win over Macon County Jan. 16 means there are now four local girls basketball teams in Kyle Sandy’s latest rankings.
The Lady Hawks are now No. 9 in Class A-Public after the 56-47 victory over Macon County. They are one of two local teams included in the classification’s rankings, with Marion County situated at No. 7.
Across the other classifications, there was little change among the local teams. Harris County held the No. 3 spot in Class 5A, while Carver was once again No. 1 in Class 4A.
