Carver Tigers return to latest boys basketball rankings

After a one-week absence, the Carver Tigers are back in the rankings.

Carver returned to Kyle Sandy’s Class 4A rankings, coming in at No. 9 this week. The Tigers leapt back into the Top 10 after wins over Cairo and Northside, pushing their record to 18-6.

Carver is one of three local teams ranked this week. Manchester remains No. 1 in Class A-Public, although Sandy’s rankings were released before the Blue Devils forfeited five games. Central-Talbotton, whose loss to Manchester back on Jan. 12 is now a win, is ranked No. 5 in the same classification.
