Harris County girls climb up in the latest rankings

The Harris County girls basketball team is one step closer to the claim of being No. 1 in Class 5A.

The Lady Tigers are up to No. 2 in Kyle Sandy’s latest rankings, moving up one spot from last week. Harris County is now 21-2 with the region tournament drawing near.

Harris County is one of four local schools included in Sandy’s new ratings. Carver remains No. 1 in Class 4A, Greenville is No. 1 in Class A-Public and Marion County is No. 7 in the same classification.
