Ledger-Enquirer readers have selected the 2023 High School Football Player of the Year in the Columbus area.
The candidates were the 11 winners of this season’s Ledger-Enquirer Football Player of the Week poll.
Each week during the football season, the Ledger-Enquirer invited the head coaches of all public and private high school football teams in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a player for that week’s poll.
Like our weekly poll, our Player of the Year poll, which was launched Dec. 7, had no limit on the number of times a person could vote until the deadline. This poll closed at noon Dec. 18. Here are the final results:
