Noah Bowers of Pacelli is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Boys Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.

Bowers is a junior on the Pacelli soccer team. He led the Vikings in scoring with five goals in the first six games of their season, including two goals in the 3-1 victory March 1 over Eastside.

We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a male athlete for this poll.

Among this week’s two nominees, Bowers received 88% of the 432 votes from our readers. Voting started Tuesday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
