Lee County Realtors raise funds to benefit three charities

LEE COUNTY, Ala. — Mercy Medical, Clothe-A-Child, and the Food Bank of East Alabama have been selected as beneficiaries of the 2008 Realtor Hawaiian Luau, sponsored by the Lee County Association of Realtors. The three non-profit organizations were selected based on their work in the Lee County community.

The luau will be at 6 p.m. CDT on April 18 at the Auburn University Club and will be an indoor/outdoor event with music provided by the Realtor Band.

Past luau events have brought in more than $13,600 for Mercy Medical and Clothe-A-Child, and the association is thrilled to include the Food Bank of East Alabama in the 2008 proceeds Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased through the LCAR office or by contacting any local Realtor.
