CVCC participates in Habit build

Chattahoochee Valley Community College is participating in the building of a Habitat for Humanity house in Sandfort Hills, a special subdivision off Sandfort Road in Phenix City.

The build begins today and last through the week. About 100 college students from throughout the U.S. and Canada will be making their home in CVCC's Doug Key Hall, spending their spring break participating in the local Habitat build.

CVCC has provided a place for the visiting students to stay for a number of years, but this is the first time the college will be building its own CVCC house.
