Horace leads Glenwood win

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Glenwood’s Nehemiah Horace scored twice in the first half and teammate Kyle Moye added a goal early in the second period to defeat Lyman Ward 3-1 on Thursday.

Horace’s goals came within the first 20 minutes of the game, and Moye scored in the opening minutes of the second half.

Taylor Newman, Jake Wilson and Emily Robertson had assists for Glenwood, and Timothy Herring earned the win in net.

Blue Devils fall to McIntosh 14-12

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — Columbus’ Megan Wilkinson scored four times and the Blue Devils had three other multiple scorers, but fell 14-12 to McIntosh on Wednesday.

Shaina Coss scored three times for Columbus, and Ari Smith and Amanda Hurley each added two goals. Sammy Ramey also had a goal.

Goalie Elizabeth Hardcastle finished with 16 saves.
