High school roundup: Kendrick prevails in penalty kicks

MANCHESTER, Ga. -- Tied 1-1 at the end of regulation and after two scoreless five-minute overtimes, Kendrick prevailed when Shanice Robinson and Asia Raleigh scored during the penalty kicks and Danielle Morgan saved all three of Manchester’s attempts.

Cody Sheedy led the Tigers at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two runs batted in. He also earned the save on the mound, making a winner out of Ti Inlow. Chris Brown had a double and two RBIs.
