Nolan Johnson of Harris County is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Boys Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.

Johnson is a junior middle linebacker on Harris County’s football team. He totaled 13 tackles, including one for a loss, in the Tigers’ 28-7 loss to Starr’s Mill at home Oct. 11.

We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a male athlete for this poll.

Among this week’s two nominees, Johnson received 68% of the 949 votes from our readers. Voting started Tuesday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
