Jalien Bush is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Boys Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.
Bush is a senior point guard on Pacelli’s boys baseball team. He produced 19 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists in the Vikings’ 60-52 season-opening home win Dec. 5 against The Heritage School.
We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a male athlete for this poll.
Among this week’s four nominees, Bush received 66% of the 5,183 votes from our readers. Voting started Tuesday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
