Quinton Smith is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Boys Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.

Quinton is a freshman on Harris County’s swimming team. He qualified for the state championships in the 50 free, 100 fly, 200 free relay, 200 medley relay and 400 free relay..

We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a male athlete for this poll.

Among this week’s four nominees, Quinton received 56% of the 9,743 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
