The winner of the Ledger-Enquirer High School Boys Athlete of the Week poll is . . .
Jack Fry is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Boys Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.
His is a senior striker on the St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School boys soccer team. While playing multiple positions, Jack led the team with five goals and was tied for the team lead in assists with three this season, as of his March 17 nomination.
We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a male athlete for this poll.
Among this week’s two nominees, Caden received 62% of the 3,543 votes from our readers. Voting started Tuesday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
