The Ledger-Enquirer High School Girls Athlete of the Week poll winner is . . .
Karoline Robichaux is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Girls Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.
She is a sophomore on the St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School girls track & field team. During the April 9 meet at Brookstone School, she finished first in the 100 with a personal record of 13.61 and second in the 200. She also helped three Pacelli relays place: first in the 4x200, second in the 4x100 and fourth in the 4x400.
We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a female athlete for this poll.
Among this week’s two nominees, Karoline received 64% of the 2,920 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
