Brookstone opens softball season with two wins

Brookstone opened the 2015 softball season Friday with a pair of wins -- 8-1 over Hardaway and 21-0 over Kendrick.

The games were part of the Jordan Tournament, which is being played at Northside.

The wins gave Brookstone the Pool 1 championship. The Cougars will play in the Gold Medal games on Saturday, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Helen Snavely picked up the win against Hardaway and hit a homer against Kendrick.Friday at South Commons
