High School roundup: Snavelys lead to Brookstone to 4-1 win over Troup County

Helen Snavely allowed just three hits and struck out 10, and Katherine Snavely homered and drove in two runs Tuesday to lead Brookstone to a 4-1 win over Troup County.

Troup County took a 1-0 lead in the first when a run scored on a passed ball. The Lady Cougars got two runs in the bottom of the first and never looked back.

Katherine Snavely's homer came in the third inning and Brookstone added a single run in the fifth inning.Tuesday at Brookstone
