Allie Southerland is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Girls Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.

As a senior outside hitter on the Harris County High School volleyball team, Allie totaled 17 kills, 17 digs, 2 aces and a 93% serving percentage while helping to lead the Tigers to a 4-0 start this season.

We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a female athlete for this poll.

Among this week’s four nominees, Allie received 49% of the 5,304 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
