Brooke Norred is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Girls Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.
As a junior quarterback on the Smiths Station High School flag football team, Brooke completed 13 of 15 passes for 184 yards and four touchdowns in the Panthers’ 39-0 win Sept. 4 at Park Crossing.
We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a female athlete for this poll.
Among this week’s six nominees, Brooke received 61% of the 27,743 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
