Reagan Thomas is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Girls Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.
As a freshman wide receiver and safety on the Smiths Station High School flag football team, Reagan led the Panthers with five receptions for 90 yards and two touchdowns in a 39-6 win Sept. 10 at Russell County.
We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a female athlete for this poll.
Among this week’s seven nominees, Reagan received 58% of the 4,611 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
