Korbyn Missildine is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Girls Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.

As a senior wide receiver on the Smiths Station High School flag football team, Korbyn led the Panthers with a total of 14 receptions for 167 yards and four touchdowns in a 62-0 win over JAG and a 31-25 double-overtime loss to Montgomery Catholic last week.

We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a female athlete for this poll.

Among this week’s six nominees, Korbyn received 68% of the 11,122 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
