The Ledger-Enquirer High School Girls Athlete of the Week poll winner is . . .
Isa Morales is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Girls Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.
She is a senior at St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School. As a year-round student athletic trainer for three years, Isa has been “leading with dedication, reliability and excellence,” Pacelli athletic trainer McKenzie Grier told the Ledger-Enquirer in an email. “She maintains a 3.0+ GPA, never misses a practice or game, and inspires others through her passion for sports medicine and leadership.”
We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a female athlete for this poll.
Among this week’s four nominees, Isa received 60% of the 5,175 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
