Max Trimble is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Boys Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.

As a senior on the Harris County High School swimming team, Max qualified for state in two individual events (100 butterfly in 56.53 and 100 backstroke in 57.40) and led two relay teams to state qualifying times (200 medley and 200 freestyle) during the Tigers’ home season opener.

We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a male student for this poll.

Among this week’s three nominees, Max received 99% of the 1,877 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
