Brooke Norred is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Girls Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.

As a junior quarterback on the Smiths Station High School flag football team, Brooke completed 16-of-18 passes for 206 yards and six touchdowns in the Panthers’ 38-0 win Nov. 4 at Paul W. Bryant in the first round of the state playoffs.

We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a female athlete for this poll.

Among this week’s two nominees, Brooke received 57% of the 14,640 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
