Jaxson Glover is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Boys Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.
As a senior on the Harris County High School swimming team, Jaxson scored a team-high 42 points to lead the Tigers to third place out of 12 schools Nov. 8 at the Columbus Blue Devil Invitational. He placed second in the 200 individual medley and the 100 freestyle. He also helped Harris County place second in both relays.
We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a male student for this poll.
Among this week’s four nominees, Jaxson received 51% of the 8,870 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
