Lillian Olsen is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Girls Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.
As a senior on the Harris County High School wrestling team, Lillian won the 105-pound weight class in the Iron Maiden tournament Nov. 15 at Jordan Vocational High School and the Hillgrove Duals tournament Nov. 25 in Powder Springs. As of Monday, her season record was 12-0.
We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a female athlete for this poll.
Among this week’s three nominees, Lillian received 45% of the 406 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
