As a senior on Kendrick High School’s wrestling team, Jariell is 24-0, incuding 16 pins, this season in the 144-pound weight class. He won his second Columbus City Championships title and has outscored opponents 250-17, with a 97% takedown ratio, this season.

We invited the athletics director at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate students for this poll.

Among this week’s three nominees, Jariell received 62% of the 3,631 votes from our readers. Voting started Tuesday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
