As a junior on the Chattahoochee County High School wrestling team, Rolan had a record of 30-6 this season in the 215-pound weight class going into this week. He also succeeds in academics, with a 4.16 grade-point average.
We invited the athletic directors at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a student for this poll.
Among this week’s four nominees, Rolan received 55% of the 25,741 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
