Jayla Moore is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Girls Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.

As a senior forward on the St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School girls basketball team, Jayla produced 21 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals in the Vikings’ 70-34 win Feb. 5 over archrival Brookstone.

We invited the athletic directors at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate an athlete for this poll.

Among this week’s three nominees, Jayla received 58% of the 364 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
