Hailey Ciccarello is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Girls Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.
As a senior striker on the Smiths Station High School girls soccer team, Hailey surpassed 100 career goals by scoring nine (along with six assists) in four matches last week.
We invited the athletic directors at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate an athlete for the poll.
Among this week’s two nominees, Hailey received 65% of the 824 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
