Coleson Brennan is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Boys Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.

As a sophomore sprinter on the Harris County High School track and field team, Coleson set a school record in the 400 Saturday during the Tiger Invitational at HCHS with a time of 50.45.

We invited the athletic directors at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate a student for this poll.

Among this week’s three nominees, Coleson received 65% of the 8,959 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
