Olivia DiQuattro is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Girls Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.

As a distance runner on the Columbus High School girls track and field team, Olivia placed fourth in the Emerging Elite 5K race at the Nike Indoor Nationals on March 12 with a personal-best time of 17:56:64 — fourth-fastest 5K by a Georgia high school girl since MileSplit started keeping records in 2000.

We invited the athletic directors at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate an athlete for the poll.

Among this week’s two nominees, Olivia received 66% of the 2,582 votes from our readers. Voting started Tuesday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
