Sam Cudd is the Ledger-Enquirer High School Athlete of the Week, based on our online poll.
As a sophomore attacking midfielder on the St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School boys soccer team, Cudd scored three goals in the Vikings’ 4-1 home win April 24 over Strong Rock Christian.
We invited the athletics directors at each public and private high school in Muscogee County, Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County and Smiths Station to nominate students for this poll.
Among this week’s four nominees, Cudd received 46% of the 38,078 votes from our readers. Voting started Monday and ended at noon Friday. The poll has no limit on the number of times a person can vote. Here are the complete final results:
