High school volleyball: Central defeats Hardaway; Calvary loses close match to Community

Community defeats Calvary

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. -- Calvary Christian got off to a good start Wednesday by winning the first set against Community Christian School.

But the defending state champions came roaring back to take the final three sets and defeat Calvary 3-1.

Tessa Burns had 15 kills and eight digs for Calvary. Leah Roper had 22 assists and 12 digs. MaCayla Clements added 16 kills and six 6 aces for the Lady Knights.Small Calvary hosts Rock Springs Academy today at 6 p.m.
