Softball roundup: Tilson, Goree lead Shaw to 10-9 win over Hardway

Ashley Tilson hit a two-out double in the bottom of the ninth inning Thursday to score Kara Goree a give Shaw a 10-9 win over Hardaway.

Hardaway had tied the game with two runs in the top of the ninth.

Jordan Bagsby went 2-for-4 for Shaw and scored three runs. Pitcher Majesty Langdon had a triple and an RBI and picked up the win.

Allison Sievers, Jada Chadwick and Gabi Apiag knocked in two runs apiece as Northside beat Carver 12-0 on Thursday afternoon.

Sievers pitched a four-inning no-hitter. The game was shortened due to the mercy rule.
