Cross country: Pacelli boys finish 10th in the Carrollton Orthopaedic Invitational

CARROLLTON, Ga. -- Pacelli's boys cross country team finished 10th Saturday in the Carrollton Orthopaedic Invitational.

The boys finished with a score of 266 in this order: TJ Fick (28th) 21:04; Jose Espinel (47th) 21:52; Brandon Newton (52nd) 22:09; Lucas Jenkins (64th) 23:06; Justus Armstrong (65th) 23:16; Manuel Duran (66th) 23:31; Logan Niemi (72nd) 24:20.

The Pacelli's girls team did not have enough runners finishing the race to qualify.

Finishers were: Alyce Ryan (25th) 25:59; Presley Auer (46th) 32:14; Annabelle Wolford (52nd) 35:01; Maria Schuler (55th) 35:55.

The Vikings return to action at the MCSD meet at Shaw on Tuesday.
