High school softball roundup: George hits homer to lead Northside to win
Hannah George hit a three-run homer as part of Northside's five-run third inning as the Lady Patriots rallied past Columbus 12-8 on Tuesday afternoon.
George finished 5-for-5 with five RBIs.
Erin Smith had a double and three RBIs to lead Columbus.
The teams are tied at 5-2 in Region 1-AAAAA. Harris County leads at 7-0.
