Kimbrough leads Jordan to rare road victory

MACON, Ga. -- Romello Kimbrough ran for three touchdowns and passed for another to lead Jordan to a 35-18 victory over Rutland on Friday night.

Kaptrick Rodgers had a 55-yard TD run for the Red Jackets, who are 2-4 and 1-3 in Region 2-AAA.

D'Andre Snead caught the 14-yard TD pass from Kimbrough.

The Red Jackets will face Westside-Macon on Oct. 10 at Kinnett Stadium at 7 p.m.

It was the Red Jackets' first road win since a win at Macon County on Sept. 11, 2009. However, Macon County won that game 19-6, then later had to forfeit.

The last time Jordan won on the road before that was Sept. 17, 1999, when it beat Randolph-Clay 34-8.
