Records: Northside 3-2, 2-0 Region 1-AAAAA. Hardaway 1-6, 0-3.

Last week: Northside was idle. Hardaway lost 49-0 to Harris County.

Series: Hardaway leads 5-4, but Northside has won past two, including 35-0 last season.

You need to know: Northside is tied with Carver atop the region standings. The teams meet on Oct. 30. Hardaway has scored just 16 points in its last three games. The only TD scored in those three games was on a kickoff return.
