Enterprise drove 91 yards late in the fourth quarter to take a 14-7 lead and created its third defensive takeaway to seal the victory over Smiths Station Friday night at Panther Stadium.

The game was scoreless until the Wildcats drove 66 yards in nine plays, getting on the board on a 16-yard pass from John Michael Griffen to Cincere Flowers with 2:52 remaining in the third quarter for a 7-0 lead.

Smiths Station immediately responded with an 80-yard, 17-play drive of its own and tied the game on a Dalton Sinquefield 1-yard sneak. Sinquefield threw for 70 yards on the drive.

The team swapped punts on the next two possessions, with Tommy Abbott punting to the 9-yard line and leaving Enterprise with only 4:31 to drive 91 yards.

Griffen started the drive by finding Trystin Warren on a screen that Warren took for a 19-yard gain. Three plays later Griffen found Chance Warren for 41 yards, setting the Wildcats up at the Panther 17-yard line.

Two runs from Tavin Anderson got the Wildcats inside the Panther 10. Flowers took it the final two plays and scored from 2 yards out, putting Enterprise ahead 14-7 with only 1:36 remaining.

Sinquefield scrambled for 14 yards to pick up a first down on 2nd-and-10 from the 20.

When he was run out of the pocket on the next play, Sinquefield tried to find Tyson Toliver deep, but Chris Ross came down with the interception at the Enterprise 23-yard line with only 1:09 remaining.
