GROVETOWN, Ga. -- Harris County advanced to the Class AAAAA state quarterfinals for the second straight year with a 3-0 win over Grovetown on Tuesday.

The Lady Tigers (46-14) beat Grovetown 25-17, 28-26, 27-25.

Kendrick falls in second round

CALHOUN, Ga. -- Kendrick won the first set, but the Lady Cherokees ended up losing 3-1 to Sonoraville in the second round of the Class AAA state tournament.

Sonoraville won 19-25, 25-15, 25-12, 25-7.
