Harris County's rally comes up short against Chapel Hill
DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. -- Harris County made another furious rally, but the Lady Tigers came up short 5-4 against Chapel Hill in Game 3 of their Class AAAAA state playoff series.
Harris County, which scored five runs in the seventh inning of Game 2 to earn a split on Wednesday, fell behind 5-0 after two innings Thursday.
Carson Anderson hit a two-run homer in the fourth to cut the deficit to three, 5-2.
Lilly Hooper hit a two-run homer in the seventh as the Lady Tigers closed to with one, 5-4.
Ashley Morgan and Savannah Sikes hit homers for Chapel Hill.
