Columbus, Harris County volleyball teams play in state quarterfinals Saturday
The Columbus High volleyball team is three wins away from a third state championships. The Lady Blue Devils can take the first step Saturday at 2 p.m. when they host Ola.
The state playoffs started with 32 teams. And through two rounds of play, the field has been cut to eight teams. Those eight teams were seeded in a meeting earlier this week.
Columbus (43-7) is seeded No. 1. Ola (41-7) is seeded No. 8.
Meanwhile, Harris County (46-14) will be the No. 7 seed. The Lady Tigers will play at No. 2 Cambridge (30-11) on Saturday at 1 p.m..
The other quarterfinals matchups are No. 6 Northgate at No. 3 Sequoyah and No. 5 Allatoona at No. 4 Dunwoody.
The semifinals will be held Oct. 28 and the finals on Oct. 31 at Marietta High.
