Anthony Bell's 4 TDs leads Manchester over Washington-Wilkes 41-14
MANCHESTER, Ga. -- Senior Anthony Bell ran for three touchdowns and had a fourth on an interception return to lead Manchester to a 41-14 win over Washington-Wilkes in the first round of the Class AA state playoffs.
Anthony Bell had 21 carries for 187 yards. He scored on runs of 4, 24 and 3 yards. His interception return came from 26 yards out.
Sophomore Ashton Bell had nine rushes for 86 yards.
Tre Gamble had seven carries for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Deenizio Gamble returned a kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown.
Manchester plays at Brooks County Friday at 7:30 p.m.
