Carver's RaShon Bray, Harris County's Cayde Anderson named to national all-star teams
Two local high school football players received invitations to play in all-star games, it was announced this week.
Carver's RaShon Bray was named to the U.S. Under 17 national team, which will compete against Canada in the 2016 International Bowl on Feb. 5 (8 p.m.) at AT&T Stadium, in Arlington, Texas.
Bray is a 6-foot, 170-pound wide receiver.
He was one of 59 players named to the Under-17 team, which will be coached by Brandon Faircloth of Port Neches-Grove High in Texas.
Harris County's Cayde Anderson was named to the Under-16 team. He was one of 60 to be named to the Under-16 team.
Anderson is a 5-foot-7, 210-pound defensive lineman.
The Under-16 team will play against the Alberta Under-16 team at 2 p.m. on Feb. 5.
