High school basketball roundup: Shakespeare's 4-point play lifts Shaw to win over Central
Kourtney Shakespeare's four-point play with 4 seconds left in the game lifted Shaw to a 70-69 victory over Central on Friday night.
Shaw trailed 69-66 when Shakespeare, who led all scorers with 22 points, hit a 3-pointer and was fouled on the play.
He added the free throw to give the Raiders (5-0) the lead.
Cam Paulding added 10 points for Shaw.
Jermond Williams led Central with 16 points. Adrain Jackson and Tionne Williams scored 11 apiece. DeMarcus Lampley added 10.
