High School Roundup: Harris defeats Lamar County

GRAY, Ga. -- Harris County outscored Lamar County 22-­4 in the fourth quarter and won 75-53 on Monday in the first round of the State Bank and Trust Holiday Classic. DJ Johnson scored 23 points to lead the Tigers. Riqueito Leonard added 20.

NEWNAN, Ga. -- Tionne Williams landed a triple-double, his second of the season, in Centrals 69-47 vicotry over East Coweta in the Newnan Holiday Classic on Monday. Williams had 12 points, 12 rebounds and 11 blocked shots. Tre Todd led Central with 14 points, and Demarcus Lampley contributed 13.

McClain Hart led East Coweta with 21 points.
