High school roundup: Beck, Day lead Glenwood over Macon-East 60-58
CECIL, Ala. -- James Beck scored the last four points for Glenwood Saturday to give the Gators a 60-58 win over Macon-East.
Beck hit a reverse layup to put Glenwood up 58-57 with just seconds left. Glenwood then fouled Macon-East, but they could hit just one of the free throws.
With the game tied at 58, Beck then raced down court and was fouled by Macon-East.
Beck sank both free throws to give the Gators the win.
Trip Day led all scorers with 31 points.
