Spencer downed Jordan 84-0 in the finals of the Area 2-3A dual wrestling championships.
The Greenwave earned a berth in the state tournament with the victory, one of two berths at stake on Saturday.
Seeding for the state meet with be decided Sunday. The meet will take place Jan. 15-17 in Macon.
The score for the final became so lopsided after Jordan forfeited all of the matches after Spencer won the first four matches with pins.
A rule for the area tournament allowed Jackson, the consolation bracket winner, to challenge the loser of the championship match -- if the two teams had not faced one another during the regular season. Spencer and Jackson did compete, while Jordan and Jackson did not.
With the likelihood of having to wrestle another match, Jordan decided to forfeit 10 matches against Spencer.
Winning by pins for the Greenwave were Thomas Hardy, Keishon Thompkins, Jasaad Graves and Christophe Baker. Those winning by forfeit were Isaiah Arredondo, Darrell Johnson, Ahmad Turner, Darius Buford, Elijah McNichols, Jeremy Burgess, Quamae Smalls, Kameron Blackshear, Demarquez Peterson and Bryan Williams.
Jordan defeated Jackson 48-36 to earn the second state berth.
Spencer dominated the semifinals also, defeating Jackson 78-6 to reach the final round.
